Right now the focus needs to be on finding an interim AD who is qualified and who isn't interested in the position long-term.
Alleva already destroyed this magical season. Let's get someone with a brain in the athletic department and allow him or her to make decisions until a permanent AD is hired next year.

You really don't know what's going on by now?
LSU's administration is juggling a coach caught on wiretap talking to a convicted runner. There are multiple taped conversations discussing two different prospects - at least that's all that we currently know.
At the same time there is an embezzlement scandal at OLOL with one NCAA violation, hopefully none other than that.
LSU must show institutional control or it will be under a full investigation by the NCAA. If the NCAA finds lack of institutional control they can expand their investigation into other sports, including football.
When this started in October, the administration asked Wade if the Koprivica discussions were all that was out there, Wade said that was all. Then four months later another leak proves that to be a lie. Now the administration must make a decision, back this coach (who's lied to them) and risk lack of institutional control, which could turn the entire athletic program upside down, or get ahead of the problem. They chose to get ahead of it.

I will say this.....it has been awfully quiet the last 3 days. Makes you wonder what is going on. Last Friday, I was 100% convinced he was gone, but now I have a glimmer of hope (not much, but a glimmer).

Could be good, but could as easily be bad, meaning there is no communication happening between parties.
