Actually watching the game showed Jennings left a lot on the field with his poor throws. There were some drops but the Miss St was able to stack the line cause we couldn't pass.

Also Harris is a much better runner than Jennings, faster and more agile. I think Harris on the whole would have been more effective throughout the game. The passing game was there all night Jennings just can't look off of Dural otherwise he takes off or gets sacked.

Agree...does anyone really believe Harris starting and playing the whole game last night would have changed the outcome?? If so, then you weren't watching what was happening in the trenches

Could he have played any worse?

Yep...

there were countless times where we had guys running open across the middle and on the underneath stuff, but Jennings just stares down field and goes for the home run ball every time. There were a lot of 3rd down plays where if Jennings would have looked at the check down or back out the back field, we would have gotten the 1st and kept the drive alive. But he just looks for the deep ball every time, which takes a lot of time to develop and our OL has to hold their blocks a long time.

And Jennings just isnt accurate when he actually does throw it somewhere else but deep. 52% completion percentage....

Why? The JJ/JL era was such a great time.

the qb situation is the least significant issue....

Yeah, the inability to run an offense, the inability to read defenses, the inability to find an open receiver, & the inability to engineer scoring drives is definitely not significant at all. Sure there are other issues but the first three quarters of qb play last night were an issue.

How do you know that Harris doesn't have some kind of ability to force the defense to stop blitzing the QB and give 15 yard cushions? I mean, I know MSU was up 20+ points late in the 3rd and just trying to run out the clock, but still....

Dickson was wide open, Jennings throws it so he comes out of bounds with it when he ran 20 yards across the field unmarked. The passing game was there, Jennings just sucks.
