He will not be fired. there is a huge buyout and LSU won't pay that and also hire a great (expensive coach) to replace him. Not happening. Miles has put a very good/occasionally great team on the field most years. he is playing in the toughest divisoin of the toughest conference in football and going against a true dynasty.

It would take a four loss season this year and two more 5 loss seasons for a change to be made.

If you are a tiger fan, root for our recruiting classes to land a few difference makers on the lines. Pray we get Leonard Fournette.

This is real talk.

Of course Les won't be fired. But he may want to spend more time with his family.

I agree with that. he gets paid more than enough for 2-4 losses a year.

Four or so losses next near and that is when he officially takes his place on the hot seat.

The defense was gutted by the NFL last year and this year the NFL guts the offense.

We are gonna suck next year.

We all know that.

2015 is the make or break year for Les.

LSU can raise a lot of money with about 4 phone calls. One of those 4 people has never liked Miles, no idea about the others. Miles loses 4 games next year thats probably a wrap.

agree. I think Bama will struggle next year without McCarron and A/M without Manziel won't be the same. the competition will be OM and Aub. Aub has the chance to be a juggernaut over the next few years with Gus.

It begs another question: why is the NFL looting LSU for individual talent on both sides of the ball from a team that is playing for shitty bowls?

Correct. Miles aint goin nowhere, but he needs to identify problems and make multiple staff changes in the off season. "DiNardo Syndome" is starting to manifest. (Stubborness and ego that's over ruling common sense in the makeup of the assistant coaching staff)

Why is the NFL not offering Miles any jobs if he is so great here at LSU?

Stop construction on the new upper deck and use the money to buy him out.

they had the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to buy his arse out after 2009 but they gave him one last chance and even after craptastic performances in 2010 he got lucky with his record.

Another question: why have so many players left early with poor or even no draft prospects?

For a coach the players supposedly love, they sure seem in a hurry to get away. It can't all be the Rant's fault.
