1. LSU averaged 160ish yards passing per game last year. This is TRUE but Jarrett Lee accounted for 50 of those YPG. Jordan Jefferson accounted for 108 yards per game.

2. Statistics involving last 5 games versus first 5 games of this year: I think this is a good argument, but please don't omit completion percentage when talking about improvement. Also, there were more home games in the last 5 games than the first 5 games this year. That MIGHT greatly impact a qbs stats.

3. Team yards per game - keep in mind, once again that JL was at the helm as well as JJ during many drives while the team acquired yards.

Once again another brilliant post. Can we start using a code word or something to keep some of these people from posting?

Has this been discussed yet?

Can you point out to me another time in which someone was comparing last years offensive production to this years, when making a QB comparison, that they acknowledged that many of those yards from last year that they were using as part of their PRO JJ argument were indeed gained by Jarrett Lee?

I was just trying to engage in some objective debate - but I see emotions prevent people from participating in such things when they are made aware of something they aren't happy about.

Excuse us, but we're in timeout mode right now.

There are all kinds of crazy arguments going off everywhere, and so there's really no pressing need to state the obvious to everyone at the moment.

Now if a legitimate discussion/debate gets going, or if you have a bone to pick with a particular poster's assertion, then go ahead.

But, believe me, we know what you're telling us. The place might be running wild with romantic and emo maniacs right now, but we know.

The Rant goes through weekly cycles during the season. It'll be better by Wednesday.

Really...more likely scenario you are just smarter than everyone else or we are all just tired of discussing this and you really aren't bringing anything new to the table

I cannot. And if you'll check my post history, you'll notice that I almost never frequent this board. I'm just here to watch the train wreck of a message board for an undefeated, top ranked team.

What can I say? You've caught us at a bad time.

Most of the best posters are AWOL right now.

And most of the posters who need to listen to what you have to say, simply aren't ready to do so tonight.

I hope I wasn't too cynical or rude to you, but it's been an exhausting week on the Tiger Rant. We're all a little short with our nerves right now. The best thing to do at the moment is to just transition into not taking anything on this board seriously.
