That could happen. "Easily" isn't the right word though. The odds of all of those things happening are very very slim.

1) He clearly wasn't trolling. His point is valid. Slim chance all of those things happen.

I'd argue this is the "only" path. Bama loses again and we win out, and beat Florida in the SECCG. Then we're in.

One other thing needs to happen as well, LSU needs to beat the remaining three teams on the schedule. Guess what two of them with nothing to lose always play LSU tough and beat them at a decent percentage despite the talent disparity. Aggies maybe joining their ranks.

Either ND or Stanford will lose again since they play each other. If ND wins that game they're in.
