Playoff committee considerations

I'm not suggesting we have a shot at making the playoff...I always hear that they take into consideration if an important player was injured for a game and those types of variables when judging how a team's loss occurred. I would like to hear a member get asked about and comment on whether or not any consideration is given to LSU being handicapped in our first two losses by Les Miles' style of play. People are saying things like the committee will give USC a pass on the Bama beatdown, simply because they are playing so much better now. Holding Bama to 10 pts is something that no other team in CFB could even come close to doing. Anyway...

Im sure they do which is why you saw the big jump after beating Arky....but at the end of the day the university chose to have Miles as the coach so those loses can only be discounted so much as oppose to injuires which obviously arent chosen.
Now with that said I believe right now LSU is firmly a top 10 team and could play with and/or beat any of them. Its a shame cause had we done what should've been done at the end of last year we would be sitting in the top 4 right now two wins away from a playoff birth.

aTm and Florida losing the games they did most recently really screwed our chances of making anymore legitimate playoff noise. Realistically it was dead anyway, but beating a top 3 aTm and a top 8 Florida would have opened up some eyes. Especially if several other upsets occur.
Oh well. Enjoy the ride and pray for the Sugar Bowl! That's more than I expected after the Auburn loss.

I think that had we beaten Alabama and were looking like we were going to be the SEC champion that we would have gotten that consideration. The committee is in love with Bama and if we had beat them we would have gotten major kudos.
