The bowl game set up is kind of ideal, at least for being prepared for next year's opener.

Nuss starts with all his other '24 guys.

Denbrock is already gone, which at this point is good so we can see how Sloan looks calling a game.

I'm really excited for this game.

It's great but could also turn on him if he does not play well.

Has Charles Turner said he was playing in the game? I know he committed to play in the senior bowl so wasn’t sure if he planned to still play or not. I’m actually looking forward to seeing what the new guys can do. I wouldn’t mind seeing DJ Chester start since he will be Nuss’ center next year.

I think it can be good for him where he could build some confidence. Just in case he has a slow start next year. He can look back and see what the future could be like.

Watched the local sports show and they showed an interview with Nussmeyer, he seems to be excited that he has been given the opportunity to be the starter with the 1st team players. He said he always prepares to play, but he said knowing he will be the starter is different.

I can't wait for Nuss to drop a dime so I can spam this board with Heisman 2024 threads.

I'd kinda rather see him with the WRs that'll be here next. But also cool with seeing Malik and BTJ again and ensuring that 10th win.

Iron strengthens Iron. I believe that Nuss welcomes the challenge. I also can't even foresee a situation where a less than stellar performance by Nuss doesn't put a fire in his belly to excel over the spring into next fall.

Nabors will play only the first quarter or so. BTJ maybe the first half at most. So, Lacey and next year’s crew will get plenty reps

Lacy, Thomas, Hilton, Anderson, and an emerging Sampson are all nice weapons for Nuss in 24

Nuss seems to be a little hyper. He will need to settle in early and not try and do to much and throw an int. He needs to stay consistent and use JD5 example. Not to high and not to low.
