I've heard all the crap about what Miles deserves, but what about what the players deserve. We have a team good enough to win the SEC next year, they deserve the best coach to put them in a position to be successful, and Miles has proven over the last 3 seasons that he is not that coach.

Miami's players stood behind Al Golden as well. Plus what do you expect a player to say, 'fire my coach'.

Again, Miles gets paid $4.5m to put his players in a position to win, he has failed.

Players have failed as well...
This isn't all on Miles, the players have to accept blame as well...

It shows, I mean they really played for their coach yesterday to save his job. I mean they kept there penalties down, caught 50/50 balls, blocked, and we're in perfect position to make tackles

When execution is a continuing problem, which, according to Miles is the reason we struggle on offense, it is coaching problem.

Miles said his team was ready to play yesterday, they were not.

That's right!! The first thing dad does when he comes out to coach his son's first football team is practice getting on the line and staying set. Did Miles need to have that drill in August...or worse did he need to do it last week?? These players can't produce because they can't master basics.

When it is systemic, it is a coaching issue.

Players play the game. Lately not very well. Blame the coach(es) all you want but a good portion of the players haven't carried their weight either.

Period. Be mad. Be upset. But the players are responsible for this as well

Why does dad's first team dive into the line until it gets desperate then heave a ball to a double or triple covered guy, because he has no system. I agree with you in that we have a poor system. Dad suffers lack of talent which isn't true of LSU. Dad's players have no clue most of the time and our guys appear to be lost, it's a systemic problem in both scenarios but you'd think our problems would be more advanced than that of a 5th grade team's

When we are constantly failing to execute, out of position, lacking basic fundamentals (like tackling), it is a problem that falls at the feet of the man paid $4.5M, not the 18-21 kids. If it was one game, that is one thing, but this is systemic.

You would have an argument the two previous games, but lack of effort and giving up wasn't the problem yesterday. Out D has massive flaws, but if they had quite, OM hangs 50+ on us. They had 38 midway through the 3rd.

Teams that give no effort don't roll up 500+ yards of offense. But teams that have 3 TOs and double digit penalties (mostly stupid pre-snap and alignment penalties and holds. Basic, foundational things) for 100 yards can gain 500 yards and only score 17 points.

Yesterday was all about gameplan, lack of discipline, and failure to execute. Yes, the players didn't execute. However, when the staff doesn't put them in any kind of position to be successful, what chance do they have?

LSU's Players look like they don't like each other...a group of individuals some even wanting to be there...certainly not a Team.

Ehh, you will see some guys bolt with a coaching change. This won't be the same team next year.

A voice of reason that isn't blindly taking up for a clown coach over all else?

You sir deserve an upvote

The players have given up on this team as well, mainly the OLine and Defense. They don't deserve better.
