He has had a couple solid starts against some SEC competition. He was settling in last week before he got popped in the leg.

I felt like he wasn't good at all last week. But, we need him to be today. So he better be. Either he or Bonvillain is gonna need to go 5 innings

How many years will it be until LSU gets a pitcher whose father pitched for Bertman?

I think we have a commitment from Paul Byrd's son. Not sure what class he is.

Look for a good bit of Rumbelow. Might be the first out of the pen. That's who Javi was talking about at breakfast this morning at the hotel and no mention of Bonvillain, but I can't imagine him not playing a substantial role in the game today.

Also Cotton will probably not pitch.

I figured this was the order. Glenn, rumbelow, bonvillian, bourgeois. Hopefully Bourgeois will come in late to finish. Hoping Cody can get a decent start in after a few rough outings and one with an injury.

can see the logic. A Sunday win is as good as a Friday win. He's probably not good enough to beat the opposing Friday starter but better than the opposing Sunday starters.

this is quite a tribute to LSU; a team saving their ace until sunday. basically, they are reducing their chances of winning on friday and increasing them on sunday. when you are outmanned it makes sense.

i think bama might be getting a few cousins from the stands to pitch today. They cannot have much left in the tank.

Mainieri said last night that he had planned on having McCune start today, obviously that won't be the case now.

So Glenn is going to all of a sudden actually start playing well in SEC games today?
