If he wanted to give Peterson a start seems like the LC game would have been a better time. UNO is a far better team, and Peterson just seems to not have it now.

Its most probably because he would like to have Hess as an option out of the bullpen this weekend, so he's giving him an extra days rest.
Would you rather beat UNO and then possibly drop a game to UGA this weekend because we don't have our best pitchers available out of the pen? Or would you rather maybe lose to UNO and have the best possible chance of starting off 3-0 in the SEC?

Luke is quickly surpassing Delly as my all time fav LSU baseball beat reporter. Rome was the worst. Huge turnaround.

I would like to see Peterson allowed to work as fast as he appears ready too.
He never turns his back to the plate. He is always waiting on the sign from catcher--waiting longer than he wants it appears to me.
I would love to him just go. Give the catcher a pitch sequence instead making him look to the dugout every single pitch.
Wonder how that would work? I think it would be great when he comes into a game behind the slow working Lange as he has this spring thus far.
