Piped in music in Tiger Stadium

It's been awhile since I've been able to see a game in Tiger Stadium, but I read on the thread about "Neck" that there is now a lot of piped in music at the football games. What gives with that?! When I was there, the band played during EVERY timeout and there was always a variety of popular tunes as well as the traditional LSU music. What's your opinion of having piped in music as opposed to hearing the GBFTL play?

I think there was less piped in music in 2009 than in 2008. anybody else agree?

I like both. Plus the players get pumped when they play piped in music. Older people tend to complain more, and you guys are annoying as frick.

This was a hot topic on here last year or the year before that. It seems to me that the band is still heavily involved, and music clips are played occasionally.
I like it. I respect the purists' position, but I don't think this is something that pisses on tradition.

I don't mind some of the music but if the band gets boring to you maybe you should pick a different sport to attend other than college football.

Dude, I'm not old at all. In fact, I'm not a huge LSU fan, but pull for LSU all the time. I believe the band gets both the crowd and players pumped. Quit complaining! ha
