PM needed to put someone in to pinch run for Jordan when he got on. It cost us a run when he was thrown out at the plate trying to tag from third. We never put speed on the bases in crucial situations.

So then BJ does not get the big hit & run hit in the bottom of the 8th. LSU wins one of the most thrilling games in The Box's history & OP is taking shots at CPM. Good Lord.

While I would agree with you, Beau ended up with a nice hit and run the next inning so it all worked out.

If your girl pinched your butt after you saw her balls deep in your friend but you still got you still got the nut, would have it mattered?

Beau also hit an infield pop up and left runner stranded. Stop with he did this because he was in the game. How do you know his replacement would of not done that to? He is batting under .275 so don't tell me he is the saving grace. I said smart baseball is to put a faster guy on base when needed. He did cost us 2 runs if you want to play that card.

I'm never 100% sure on the designated hitter rule but if we would have taken Beau out and had someone pinch run for him, wouldn't that terminate the DH spot and the pitcher would have to bat? Once again I'm not sure about the rule and I never have been

You can pinch run or hit for the dh spot without losing the dh.

I think the only way to lose the dh is to insert a pitcher into the batting lineup.

Jordan shouldn't even be in the lineup.
