Want to make sure you don't give those concession workers or the people waiting for their Tiger Dogs a view of the action (other than maybe on an old CRT video screen), and go ahead and put concrete walls up where it would otherwise be facing the field.
Exactly.. Wtf..

May have been discussed before, but is it just me or do the block-shaped buildings along the top bother anyone? I think it looks better when there is a smooth-lined finish along the top of the stadium, like the other 3 parts of TS. Again, this has probably been brought up but I didn't want to search through multiple posts, so give me a break!

So maybe you can give a legit answer to my question. Where would you have liked them to put the bathrooms and concessions? I'd like an honest answer.

Honest answer:
Not complaining about the location, just wondering why not make it one building across the top, at least the facade, look like one smooth line so it doesn't look like blocks sitting on top. I like the new look of the addition, just asking an honest question.
As my post stated, I'm sure it has been discussed but if has recently I have not seen it. Just posing the question.

The buildings had to be broken up so people would have a way to get to and from the concessions area. There isn't a whole lot of room between the buildings and the railing for people to stand. It would've been really dumb to also make concession lines out there too.

It's been discussed ad nauseam. Some actually believe they're up there because the designers forgot about them and threw them up there last minute.

So that's what all of that is about - guess I don't spend enough time on here!

Well, I won't belabor the point, but perhaps a covered roofline or some sort of facade connecting each "block" may have smoothed out the appearance? Oh well, I am sure it is going to look great when all is finished. Looking forward to kick-off!

very well may happen. in fact someone on the project said he thought it would. i hate to state the obvious but you do understand the project is still under construction right?

Just crossed the bridge... Wow, it didn't truly register how massive this addition is until I saw it from the Miss. River bridge.

I hope so. You are right, the project is still a work in progress. I think TS is going to look awesome when completed. I sure appreciate seeing the updated pictures each week.

Awesome. This is the closest I get to seeing the inside of a suite.

I have no problem with the concession stands and restrooms on top nor the legos. My only concern is they are not the same length and same height.

perhaps the designers actually believed that people in line would prefer not to have their back to the field and perhaps that was more important than the 15 year olds slangin Tiger Dogs losing their view....

Don't come in here with logic!

Can you speak to this "roof" or "cover" that has been hinted at streamlining the buildings' looks?
Posted on 5/29/14 at 8:41 pm to Sev09
there is no joining roof or cover. the buildings do not connect allowing for circulation around the buildings. buildings at the far west and east side will have the stucco exterior finish and the 4 intermediate buildings have the masonry exterior.

The other guy mentioned awnings but didn't say they would go from building to building necessarily. He also said he wasn't really sure about that even.

Their back to the outside facing a concrete wall is certainly preferable to being able to look back at the field while in line, I guess.
