I'm sure this has been answered in previous threads but when is the SW scoreboard going up and is it the same size as the SE scoreboard?

Soon and yes.

The arch part of the SEZ looks to be the same color. Just the part with all the glass looks to be white.

From my eyes it looks like the new expansion will be a light tan color matching the football training facility, SC&E bldg and Alex box.

But hard to tell with various stages of the exterior going on.

I was hoping they would paint it sane color as north and pressure was the west and paint it same color too.

If you look at the construction cams today it sure looks weird. There's an obvious finishing layer being put on the facade. It's considerably lighter than the gray cinder blocks. The lighting is all gloomy though so in person is the only way to really tell anything.

it is the same color as the north endzone. look at the comparison pics. the only reason it looks darker is one is the north is in the shade and the south isn't

The concessions stand is in the building at the center of the field and the counter openings are in the west and east faces of the building, not the field side.

I was only kidding with the "forgot about them" part.

Ah, so that "drive-thru" style window IS where the counter is. Interdasting.

Vise, can you add any insight to this?

From my perspective, and as of this morning, it looks to be a light tan/ off white covering over the arches and general facade of the new south expansion. I'm not sure if this is the finishing coat or a primer of some sort before painting (matching the north side) is done.

If it's the light tan color (same as SC&E, football operations, alex box, etc..) then tiger stadium will indeed look piece wise.

Could you imagine being a Contractor and trying to build a house for some of the people that post on here. How long would it be before you walked off the job!!

Well, if the contractor on my house forgot to put in bathrooms, I'd be pretty pissed.

It's not the contractors fault. Most of the complaints are with the design which LSU knew exactly how it would look before but most here didn't.

And people here are idiots for the most part. I'd love to know where all the Rant architects would've put the bathrooms and concessions.

Good. Want to make sure you don't give those concession workers or the people waiting for their Tiger Dogs a view of the action (other than maybe on an old CRT video screen), and go ahead and put concrete walls up where it would otherwise be facing the field.
