His comp has Florida having 400 yards of total offense and a 18 point victory? Pure fantasy

Well, he's hardly spot-on, FWIW; he picked against LSU numerous times last year.

I won't. I'm suprised Florida is ranked only 10th; they have played better than we have til this point. If we beat the gators, it would mean our O-line and WR's have gotten there act together.

We played like shite vs Towson, but UF was tied with Bowling Green (MAC) entering the 4th quarter in Gainesville.

In all honesty, this game is a blowout if we mett don't fumble on the goal line, and then fumble again deep in our own territory

yeah....like coulda', shoulda' and woulda' work in a reality based world. the rabbit was right....SEC road games are a bitch and what really has this team shown you that makes you believe they will suddenly snap out of it. our turnover ratio sucks and when one part is clicking some other part decides to take a series off. winning in gainesville is predicated solely upon this team reinventing itself in all facets of the game and by showing a ton more self disipline and a new found adherence to technique and execution. hopefully our 'real' season starts this saturday.

Sagarin picks Florida too. 4.5 spread. 2 points really, and 2.5 for the home field.

Quit your incessant trolling. You got the other thread whacked because of it.

You aren't pointing out anything. You're flaming the board and trying to provoke negative responses.

Trying to derail this one too?

I can't believe this goof, in Mett's first road game he threw for 170 and we still rushed over 200, penalties and turnovers are killing us. IMO it's a lack of player motivation, but be assured they'll have a lot for this one. I say we beat em something like 33-17 then whoop SC at home and hopefully get out of college station without Mett being concussed.

Doubled up AU in total yards, but two key turnovers rejuvenated the AU D and crowd.

So its ok since we played like shite? Did you thin that maybe UF played like shite against BG, who is way better than Towson? They have more impressive wins than we do(Beat A&M and UT on the road). There QB is playing at a higher level than ours. There D is pretty damn good. Dont understand why people think there run D sucks. Omar Hunter is a stud at DT. Jenkins is back this week and he is a stud. So is Bostic. They have a damn good RB in Gillespe(SP). I dont get why people act like what UF has done this year hasnt been impressive, when it has, but act like we have done so much this season, when we havent. Im not a negatiger or anything, but UF very well could be 1 of the hottest teams in the country and playing with a high confidence level. Not to mention we go to the Swamp and we all saw what Mett did in his 1st SEC game at Auburn. UF is WAY better than Auburn, and it will be way more hostile at the Swamp. I predict us to win, but it will be a close game and I can see it coming down to turnovers and special teams. 24-17 LSU. Something close like that.

They will satck the box to stop the run. If we cant throw it early to back em off we may be in toruble and will need some turnovers by our defense. If we come out and show we can throw and the oline can block it will be domination!!!

No, but basing predictions on how one team plays in one game, and disregarding the other in a similarly bad game is cherry picking data.

Tennessee is average again this year. A&M is a few years away from really competing in the SEC, and Kentucky is back to Kentsucky in football.

Phil Steele likes to base a lot of hit picks on VH (very high) recruits. If you look at LSU's D, only a couple where highly rated by the recruiting services. I've come to learn that this staff is >>>>>>>>>> than these services.

Remember Akiem Hicks? He never plays a down here due to McCarthy fricking up his recruitment, goes to a college in Canada, and gets drafted in the 3rd round. Had he stayed at LSU, he would have been a 1st rounder.

Phil Steele looks to sell magazines. That is his main $. His picks usually suck dick vs the number because he typically refuses to believe a player that wasn't rated higher in HS can be a top player in CFB.

LSU is more talented, stronger and has better playmakers than Florida. Stop Gillislee, force Driskell to pass, and you win. Steele wants to believe that Driskell (or their Sr) being out for this game last year was the tipping point for our win. The result would have been the same.
