Great day for someone like Meachem, Bowe, Douglas, Edleman.....

Good day for Megatron.

Megatron only scored 5 TD's last season with no 2 touchdown games

True, but didnt Calvin get tackled at the 1 like 5 times and inside the 5 like 9 times? Some ridiculous #s like that.

yes, he was on my fantasy team. Calvin beats everyone. Him and graham are unguardable. You can play them perfect 99% of the time but that 1% could be a touchdown.

PP7 should have had a TD against the Saints, he was wide open

As I've said before his next contract will be biggest ever for the position. Very good chance it will not be with the cards.

All of this criticism for a guy who 1) made the INT that allowed his team to tie the game, then 2) made the INT that secured the win for his team.

Anything more and Detroit would've blamed PP7/21 for bankrupting the city.

I agree his contract will most likely be the biggest ever at that position. And your not just paying 1 of the best,if not the best, CBs in the game. Youre paying 1 of the best, if not the best, return men in the game too. And he plays offense.

That said, there is no way in hell that the cards wont give him that contract. Besides Larry Fitz, hes the most important player in the entire franchise. They will sign him.

I will say he's the best all around DB in the game right now as far as everything he brings to the table. As for strict coverage and erasing a man off the field...I give a slight nod to Sherman and Haden

None of those guys are playing up to the level that Revis was playing prior to his injury.

If he's blanketing the same receiver all game long (which he isn't) then giving up 116 yards and 2 touchdowns isn't doing a very good job

One of the TDs CJ was in the slot and PP wasn't covering him

You're right, he sucks. Other cb's usually shut him down.

Dude, please watch the video. It wasn't entirely Peterson's fault that happened. It looked like Dansby intercepted the ball. It's not like Peterson got completely burned.

Peterson is the best, Sherman isn't even second best IMHO. Sherman has the benefit of playing on the best defensive squad in the league. Cards need Peterson to do more in one on one situations than the Seahawks need from Sherman.

I saw it live and watched the video. He misread what happened and gave up a 72 yard touchdown

One of two touchdowns Calvin scored

Which my point. No db guards the #1 receiver the entire game

Peterson is likely top 3, but hard to say he's better than Haden or Sherman at this point.

I actually think Haden is the best in the game. PP however is certainly more explosive and versatile and probably a more valuable player for the Cardinals than Haden is for Cleveland.
