he needs to just be shot or better yet fed to mike VI and then he could see how many problems he is having

Judging by the 1 comment they posted so far, I'm gonna guess anything negative about the article won't be posted. This chick commented over an hour after me and hers was approved I guess, mine, not so much.

I guess PETA doesn't realize that wild animals would just as well kill and eat them like anyone else.

Great Response! Too bad they probably won't post it. They have zero proof that Mike is treated wrongly due to the fact that NONE exists. Mike is truly loved by all Tiger fans!

oh yeah...and PETA definitely hates LSU!

how come colorado never gets shite for having a bison run out on the field with handlers pulling on him around the neck. where are the attacks of bevo or the goats at navy or the war eagle? only tigers shouldnt be live mascots but other animals are ok?

This is what I just wrote in response to having some of the comments denied, but the one who favors the article being shown

We have a blog posted on an LSU website for fans, and a few of our fans have tried commenting on this article but you have yet to post these, why is that, are you afraid of criticism, or just being wrong in the way you portray Mike the Tiger? I would love to hear the reasoning for you not letting comments being shown that are against your article, but yet you post the comment that agrees with you. What's wrong with us being able to defend LSU and the life that Mike lives on the campus of LSU, seeing that we are able see him everyday? And you just being able to write this article bashing us without hearing from the opposing side. Have you ever been to LSU personally, and seen mike's habitat? If so, I would love to hear what is so awful about it. And considering you didn't put it in your article I doubt you have.
Thank you for your time, and I hope you allow people to see this response.

I was amused that the article was inspired by Tom II dieing at 17 from cancer.

yea whats the average life span for the type of tiger they had if i had to guess i'd say its less than 17, meaning Tom II lived longer than average
god knows what would happen if Mike or Tom would die at a young age, PETA would have a field day bashing us then

That's the typical attitude of people like that. Everyone's equal, right? But some are more equal than others.

I have yet to see a liberal who refrains from using power, even on something as simple as a blog.

well if Memphis had put him in the wild he wouldve died 10 years ago from a gunshot instead of cancer, they deprived him of that right

signed,
douche bag PETA guy from a shitty college in a shitty state

I'm all for ethical treatment of animals (and by that I mean not
force feeding a duck for it's liver, or forcing dogs to fight), but when the beloved animal is treated better than alot of
people...come on PETA, you can do better than that

as a side note, I do not like PETA nor do I support their retarded
guerrilla-esque/propaganda campaigning

It looks like my post worked b/c they put mine up and they put another LSU post, that was not up there earlier but is "magically" up now, keep sending them, but please make it refined and prevent from bashing the hell out of them too much or it will make us look like idiots, save the hate for this board haha

The fact that he used slavery as an analogy to the treatment of Tigers discredits his entire discussion.
