This is a Sophomore team folks!

In August who had this LSU team @ #2 going into the Bama game?
Don't reset the bar.
Be honest. Who here had this LSU team #2 going into the Bama game?

I didn't.
Kudos to both the coaching staff, and some unbelievably talented, dedicated players. Congrats to both!

BEAT BAMA!

Actually, I think a lot of us on tRant had LSU at 7-0 going into this game. It was the rest of the November schedule where we had our doubts.

Figured there would be one loss to this point.

Florida was really the only game I was worried about up to this point. But we've actually generally looked good on the field. I never really feel "good" about a game against Bama because I know Saban builds his teams around LSU (his quote) and the fans care more about this game than any other (obvious here, on Tidefans, and in the broader media).

I'm gaining confidence in this game.

Hell,
in August, most here would have been satisfied getting out of September with one loss.

Yeah, lots of people were confident about playing at state and then the preseason favorite to win the west....??

I said 8-0 going into the game and 2-2 in the last 4. Obviously feeling a lot better than that now.

It's Kudos with a k and I like the premise of your post. However, if you're a 40 year old LSU alum then you can find 10 reasons why LSU will lose by 3 touchdowns any given game.

Predicted our CFP ranking and wasn't too far off with others outside of Bama at 4.

LINK

Before the season I thought we would win all of them up to Nov and then go 2-2. Now I think this team has a great shot at running the table. Healthy heading into these 4 games and QB/WRs starting to peak. Look out SEC West.

I know I did. State and Auburn finished last season a combined 3-7 and then had their rosters gutted by graduation and NFL departures. I honestly thought we'd be ranked in the Top 5 a lot earlier than we were, but I was also banking on Auburn not being dogshit terrible this year.

Probably quite a few. The only real test going to the Bama game looked like it would be Auburn. If we could get past them, we'd be 7-0 (previously 8-0). Turned out Auburn sucked, Florida didn't. November is the true test of how good this team is.

I sincerely doubt most people were more worried about Florida than Auburn or MSU.

Sure everyone knew November would be brutal, but there was very real concern about MSU and Auburn, the preseason SEC favorite.

I'd guess as many people were worried about a weird trap game at SCe than Florida.

If we're being honest, very few people truly believed and would have argued that we'd be where we are right now. It is a huge accomplishment and surprise. Of course, this is the rant, where honesty is rare and revisionist history rules.

Hell, half the people on here claiming they knew we'd be undefeated going to Bama are the same morons that blasted the Steele hire and swore Harris would never start over Jennings.

Personally, as a huge positiger/pumper, I had us with losses to Auburn and Bama in a 3 way tie at 10-2 in the West
