ahh, yes, he didn't have a bad line, his running backs sucked. Having Porter and Vadal sitting on the bench had absolutely no impact on the game.

Here is my take: Last year LSU was 4-2 in close games. Wins over Wisky, UF, Bears, and Ags with losses to Bama and ND. I think with JJ or JL perhaps LSU would have been at least 5-1 and with some games like UF, Ags, and Bears not that close.

Not that JJ and JL were very good, but both were better than what the Tigers had last year. Harris just wasn't ready and then he got injured. The coaches knew this and would rarely let either throw a pass between the hash marks. The WRs didn't help much either as they couldn't get off press coverage and didn't run good routes. It was their first year basically as well.

Having said that, AJ seems like a hard worker and a good guy. I don't think he is a SEC QB. If he ever proves me wrong, I'll be delighted and readily admit I was wrong.

At this point, if Harris is not the answer, LSU simply doesn't have one in my opinion. Brandon has a stronger arm by far is quicker and faster and has gained weight. I think Harris will start every game barring injury.

thats it. It was the oline. Jennings is actually the next Tom Brady. He will go first overall in the draft with a decent oline
Try to pay attention.

The issue is the 2014 Arkansas game.

LSU sorely missed Elliott Porter and Vadal Alexander for that game.

And there was also this:

Jennings, have been pulled for failing to execute.

like the Arkansas game last year?

wow.

I don't think you're getting the picture.

Let me enlarge it for you.

well that would explain then, why Harris took a snap in the UK game, which ya know, was in between the auburn and arkansas game.

this says the next time we have horrible qb play, watch the oline. Maybe you should pay a little more attention. It takes all the blame from the qb and puts it on the oline

What if AJ is the next Lee? Gets sent to the bench only to come back his senior year and be a fan favorite. It's possible.
No, it's NOT possible at all.

Too many things going against him.

If he's even at LSU in 2016, you'll have a seasoned BH, plus the appearance of Etling and Franks, along with McMillan.

Factor in the dysfunctional and flawed decision making process that led to his kicking in an apartment door and "Jenny" will never be a fan favorite..................

A snap. One snap. Solitary, sole, singular.

And what happened on that snap in the UK game?

Perhaps Miles determined that the absence of Elliott Porter and Vadal Alexander was a significant reason why Jennings was not performing well?

Perhaps, Miles determined that without Elliott Porter and Vadal Alexander, changing from a healthy QB to an injured QB would not likely have a significant impact on the game?

:sigh:

Simplistic analysis. Binary reasoning: (1) Blame the QB, or (2) Blame the o-line.

That's what they said about Lee.

Jennings never kicked in an apartment door. In fact, nobody did. Jennings never kicked in any door.

You need to pay closer attention to the facts. It might help your analysis, and, therefore, your conclusion.

so change nothing, try nothing, accept defeat and use " gave us the best chance to win" at the presser. Makes sense

More binary reasoning: (1) Play an injured True Freshman, OR (2) Accept defeat.

Don't any of you Jennings bashers use anything besides binary reasoning?

Hmmmmmm . . . perhaps that is why you are Jennings bashers.

The concept of a good/bad OL making life /easy difficult for a QB, and vice versa is a completely foreign concept.

No, we are LSU fans who want to see winning. Everybody sees things differently. You and I aren't special no matter how many Holiday Inn Expresses we stay at

this thread is about the almost certainty that Harris will be starting....and the ones that claimed Harris would never start because "Miles is blah blah blah" are trying to deflect it to something else because they look like idiots

he threw an INT.

and thats pretty remarkable he took a single snap, but then also on the following drive

3rd and 6 at UK 49 Brandon Harris run for 8 yds to the Kent 41 for a 1ST down

I was not aware LSU had two Brandon Harris(es)

Then again, I don't know about the secret playbook either.

Find a post, one, where I said that. I have said Miles is hardheaded and is quick to revert to chickenshit football many times. I stand by that 100%

no one ever said the line didn't make a difference but blaming everything on them is completely false. If that was the case, the oline must have played terrible every single game because Jennings was poor or worse in every single one of them.

If you actually watch the game, calling that a run is being generous... it was a scoot out of bounds to pick up the first and avoid contact.
