Sorry. We're not keeping O alter. Next year you'll have to face an actual good coach against all of this talent. Be afraid.

You're a clown and missing the point.. What coach could possibly change the culture of this program in 1 month. Also, not an alter Albert.

How much did you expect to change in 1 month? The culture on this team runs deep.

Well, we fired Miles becuase he couldn't beat BAMA. He did score more than 10 the last 4 tries.

I didn't want to bring that up but.....

Changes the narrative a bit, doesn't it?

You don't know that you don't know... That's what is scary.

He did, but he also kind of left us with a transfer from Purdue as our best option and Etling had never faced talent like Bama's in his life.

LSU didn't fire Miles just because he didn't beat Bama. He had a great run, but Arkansas had beaten LSU by 17 in consecutive seasons, Ole Miss had won two out of the last 3 and blew out LSU last year, and yes, Bama had beaten him 5 times in a row. And he started off 2-2 this year and the team looked flat in every game.

Aren't we playing to win the game?

Of those 4 I would say only 1 was a closer game... But you can keep counting points.

It really doesn't and is an extremely short sighted mindset. If I need to explain more I can but I feel sorry for you if the reasoning is hard to grasp.

Y'all are f**king killing me with this shite. Ed O is an INTERIM. Nobody should have ever expected him to do much more than guide us through the season and then LSU goes after the real head coaching prospects. The problem is that a bunch of moron LSU fans have already decided that the interim should be the new head coach based on nothing but silly shite and recruiting.

Your whole f**king idea is to keep going after top coordinators on both sides of the ball, like they appear all the time. What's worse is that he is a pro style guy and that's even rarer to find one that's not only one of the best, but is also a QB whisperer. Kiffin would be stupid AF to leave Saban's winning just to try to resurrect LSU's QB graveyard, and is more likely to be a HC at another place. Aranda will likely be gone within 2 years so now you're looking for a top level DC and OC because the head man can't do either.

We've been there, done that with a lineman/recruiter as a HC, time to get an x's and o's guy that runs a spread offense, or at the very least, a wide open pro style offense guy. They should also be required to have consistently good - great QB play.

So here's the deal.

He had already made some changes to the offense. We saw multiple plays against mizzou and OM...and they were successful.

Guess what, we didn't run any of them against Bama.

Not down on O, just realize he is not the person to bring LSU to the next level. O has hung around a long time not to be a head coach, other than ole miss many years ago. And last night showed why, he is simply not head coach material.

They act like Herman is going to change everything. The guy still has 2 more losses this year at Houston.
