Although I get the unfairness in the thought of it, it would be the most glorious program take down ever to beat them twice. Their melt would be beyond description. I relish that possibility.

Even better if we already knocked them out.

I don't care what happens the rest of season. As a fan beating Alabama at Alabama was the most enjoyable thing for me.

They couldn't win their own division. Why have a regular season and conference championship games if failing to even win your division is worth just as much as playing an extra game and risking more injuries?

I actually think they’re an easier out than either Ohio State or Clemson this year.

I don’t get it that by winning your division and playing an extra game being your conference Championship can hurt or possibly knock you out the playoffs by losing while a Bama team just sits home and brags about their best win being a 5 point loss to LSU and waltz in the CFP ...this is about as limp as Tua @ the end of the Bama/ LSU game...

Why would we play them again if they’re out of the playoffs?

We have to beat them twice for it to count but they only need to beat us once?

Nah I’m not into that

And how about doing it twice in the last 8 years, after having beaten 5 top 10 teams when they lost to the only top 10 team they played, AT HOME!

I think the people saying bring them on are not at all concerned about fairness to the kids that have sacrificed the blood, sweat, and tears

I also think they’ve likely never competed for anything themselves, where it mattered how much they had invested.

HELL NO!!!!

We don't want to play them again. So we play an extra game in the SEC championship game and they get to rest AGAIN like 2011. No way! And Saban schemes us with an extra week of rest. We get penalized for beating them on their home field.

Not really unfair. I mean, you just need to plsy the team in front of you.

I agree. It would be a statement and shut mouth's and all excuses. No more Tua BS, no more dropped passes BS. Then people would really take notice that LSU is for real and here to stay.

Either way, I'm sick of hearing about it. If it happens, it happens. Why melt over it?

Where have I heard this story before. Hmmmm

No thanks. It’s hard to beat a good team twice.

They don’t deserve a rematch. We won. They lost. Their division.

Here is what is going to happen: LSU will beat Georgia in the SEC Championship game and that’ll sneak Bama in at #4, and a rematch against LSU. We get fricking screwed for winning our conference again.

It’s not about being “afraid” to play them again. It’s about we beat them already. The season has to count for something. If the committee goes off who they think is the best 4 teams then this playoff could have ended on Labor Day.

Bama had their chance and failed, the mulligan team has to end this year.

It's like Bama received a bye after a loss to the division champ...

playoffs don't work that way

Not to even mention how much they have promoted making teams schedule quality opponents OOC

Then they have a chance to establish that, and turn around and reward Alabama for losing to the only top 20 team they face, and give them a chancd to win it all in one game vs a team that beat them at their place and also beat 4 other top 10 teams to get there

Fraudulent to the core if that happens. The SECCG will be the last CFB game I attend if that happens.
