Maybe he means why can’t we fire House?

I have watched Penn State 3-4 times this season and have been struck by how bad their offense is against good opponents. Their offense lacks any real sense of innovation and strikes me as very predictable. This is probably a necessary move by Penn State if they hope to get better.

They need to fire the DC. Michigan ran 32 straight times on them. That's like 1890 football and they couldn't stop it.

Probably because there isn't anybody on the defensive staff that could be trusted to coordinate us to three more wins. Like it or not, but Kelly is serious about getting that 10th win. If something happens to stop that from happening, something could change.

It's vital for recruiting to fire coaches now because of early signing period.

LSU may be in serious trouble. Why would a recruit want to play for House. Sends a bad message that LSU is not serious about fixing the Defense

BK loves him some shitty defense. It’s on the players, not his coaches

Is Coach Pete just working with the DL or is he an over all analyst?

The PennSt offense is other worldly bad. It was difficult to watch. BUT, James Franklin made some knuckle headed decisions yesterday. I don’t understand goin for 2 toward the end of the game after the last TD. Yes, they needed to go for 2 at some point. But he jeopardized keeping it a one possession game by going for 2 when he did. And sure enough, they didn’t get it keeping the game at a 9 point deficit. Kick the EP and go for 2 if you score again. Mentally, you’re keeping the team in it by keeping it a 1 possession game. He didn’t do that.

They did stop it. Their offense just did nothing when they got it back.

There’s also the flip side. Recruits don’t like instability, and LSU could risk losing recruits by pulling the trigger too early.

Who on the defensive staff is going to call plays? You live with it until November 25th and then cut bait. I’m sure LSU is going through the back channels to vet candidates now.

Going for 2 “early” when you need one is a no brainer.

I think recruits want NIL and playing for a winner. Looks at Cooks and Steeples. Laughing stock. Then have star players like Perkins not being utilized and Womack can't see the field. Not a good look why waste your talents playing for House.

Fire House now, gives fans and recruits hope then immediately after A&M game announce a stud DC hire. Media buzz would be tremendous and get recruits on the fence to pick LSU.

Janek was a DC at UGA and Tennessee, he can’t be any worse than House because nobody is. House should’ve been demoted weeks ago.
