Did Holmes play DB at all in HS?

I know its possible to learn quickly, but that's pretty tough to do at the SEC level. Or would he be depth if needed?

I think it's a solid move... He'd be much more useful on defense right now anyways with all of our RBs and WR's

Was there ever any video of any of these guys playing DB?

Corey Webster moved from WR to CB and it worked out great for both the Tigers and Webster.

He was 4th or maybe 5th receiver his freshman year, and came out of HS as an All-State QB. And he's still on the NY Giants roster in his 8th season.

Given the losses at the DB position, I think it wouldn't hurt to give Turner a shot if he's not going to contribute at WR and is motivated.

You never know.

I think Turner wants to get on the field anyway possible. Trying him out at DB would definitely be interesting.

I think Fobbs would be the better switch to CB. We wanted him there originally and he somewhat knows how to play the position. Turner would be a decent move as well. I would not understand Holmes being moved to DB. He's been looking pretty solid at WR so far and his speed is more valuable at a position he actually has some clue how to play. Either way, someone needs to move for depth.
