HE'S A 21 YEAR OLD ROOKIE, not to be a dick but most rookies are about 23 years old when they start
He has plenty of time to improve

Sfp is dead on, on this subject. Pp is an elite athlete, average at best cb.
It has been proven all year long, he can't cover a nfl receiver man to man like many scouts said prior to the draft.
He is a rookie who hasn't finished his first season in the league.

It doesn't change a damn thing anyone has said. It is what it is. If you could read, I stated that I hope he becomes the goat.
I don't see it happening though. I could be wrong. I could be right

PP's showing enormous potential even tho he's gotten burned some along teh way
He's in his first year in the NFL and four years out of high school

Thanks for the link fek101. Awesome stuff. Dudes a beast and awesome rep for LSU. I'd sure as hell want him on my team.

Hows Prince how ever u spell his last name doing for the G-men? He was currently benched. There is a learning curve for rookie cb's. It's not like a rookie rb. Prince was injured, had way more time to mentally prepare and was still missing assignments. Peterson has immense talent and a drive to be the best. That combo usually works out.

6'0 219lbs. PP grades out A+ athletically, but his body type goes against what all DB's in the NFL measure at. you'll have a hard time finding a DB in the NFL weighing 210 much less 219. most are around 5'10-6'0 190-200lbs.
PP is blazing fast, but all that is straight-line speed. its just much easier to spin and move being at 200lbs vs 219lbs.

idiots talking down PP is not watching the arizona games. PP as CB during the latter stretch of the season is better than half the CB in the league. He is left out there 1 on 1 against #1 receiver without over the top help. PP made Dez Bryant looked ordinary last sunday. I will say it again PP will make the pro bowl in his 3rd year as a DB(as a kick returner is all gravy).

Then this. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Yet you don't seem to understand the sig. that he is a rookie in the league.

The couple of times I've watched Cardinals games, it seems they are leaving him on an island and that really limits what you can do as a corner. If he could grab and hold people like Revis, it would change the equation.

In time he will pick up the "tricks of the trade."
He has made some mistakes for sure, but has looked good at times as well. I certainly wouldn't judge a future career based solely on the worst plays a rookie makes. I wonder if people actually expected the guy to go from college to the NFL and be an instant superstar.

Bashing a ROOKIE?
Sure wasn't.

People expect every top 5 pick to be a superstar. They also expect them to be on sportscenter all the time.
