This times a gabillion. I can't pass up much merchandise with the tiger eye on it and absolutely refuse to buy anything with the cartoonish toonces on it.

You're talking about the head over LSU? I've seen worse...I thought toonces was Mike and his arms spread out over LSU like he was driving a car.

I thought Toonces specifically referred to the Cat with the Purple hurricane but all variations were also referred to as Toonces. I guess I don't know.

All 3 of them are Toonces, but the hurricane Toonces is the worst offender. The leaping Toonces & head-only Toonces are not as bad but all need to go.

A while back, someone posted the website of the firm that came up with the toonces logo. The site had examples of logos they had done for other teams, and they all looked the same. It was the mascot looking gay over the teams name. Not much imagination or grit in any of them.

The toonces logo is a disgrace to the school and every fan. Now you can't please everyone granted but I haven't met a single person. Gay, straight, black, white. Oriental, it doesn't matter no one likes the gay arse toonces logo. I am an Lsu freak and once bought a turd with the Lsu with tigers in cursive logo on it. Thats the best logo we ever had the LSU the. Tigers below it in cirsive. I like the eye of the tiger also, but auburn has a. Similar logo.

Every now and then I get a gift with Toonces on it. I am grateful yet it still pisses me off, but I simply keep my cool and say... "Wow, thanks! Where did you pick this up at?" Then I return it for something else LSU related.

I will never buy anything with toonces. I remember a link awhile back at the rejected logos that whatever marketing company sent LSU. believe it or not, toonces was the best tehy could come up with. That company seriously took LSU's money and laughed.

As said before my biggest problem is the amount of money we paid to a company in NY for this crap. Hold a contest within the student body and I guarantee you will get something better because 1) there will be a prize and more importantly 2) all of the submitters will care about what the logo looks like and represents.
