Sadly, the people who schedule these for TV DGAF about the fans. 6:00 on a weeknight in BR is a severe pain in the arse for people who actually have jobs and families and the such.
6:00 in Starkville is no big deal. Bubba can knock off his Wal-Mart job at 5, swing by the double-wide to pick up Thelma Lou and the kids, and still make it to the Hump for a 6:00 tip.
In Baton Rouge, good luck getting off work at 5, going home, and making it back to LSU for 6.
