true.
the times were taken from their respective websites (jenkins from the gators site and peterson's from lsusports) so both are biased, not just one.

Peterson is a top 5 guy, its just rare a DB goes that high- all dependent on what team is sitting there.

We've heard talk of PP hitting around 4.4 when tested. That's not to say that those rumors are guaranteed accurate, but usually guys who end up being slower than conventional thought (Highsmith, Zenon, Dickson, ect) don't have people in the know talking about their spring 40s before their senior year.

He could have just made the list on the assumption PP would come back for his junior year, thats my guess. He cant be that stupid to just leave him off the list completely.

I'm excited to see what Peterson does in the return game. That may just add a little value to his stock if things work out well.

It's not an oversight. He has Peterson ranked as the 4th best draft eligible corner. I honestly think McShay was looking for an "I told you so" pick for down the road, and he hopes Peterson is that guy. People won't go back and re-evaluate these picks, but if for any reason Peterson's stock falls, McShay will be sure to plug that he had Prince, Ras-I-Dowling, and Jenkins as better prospects before the season started.

I know he was running in the 4.2s hand timed at the beginning of the year. His 4.37 is supposed to be laser timed.
