I would defer to Dr. Baker what's best for our tiger, not a bunch of yahoos on a message board.

I had no opinion on this topic a year ago, I hope Mike never goes to another game.

Frankly, if going to home games isn't what's "best" for our tiger, I guess I don't give a shite what's "best."

It's too great of a tradition to kill. frick it. He has every other day of the year to recover.

They've gotten a lot more cautious about bringing Mike to games. I don't really blame them. It's probably a borderline traumatic experience for Mike. Once a year seems like it will be the most to expect from here on out.

This is ridiculous. Do you think Sigfried and Roy have this issue. Do you think Disney Animal Kingdom has this issue. No, they train their animals to acclimate to the nonstandard wild environment.

You say Mike must be traumatized by the game day experience. It must be awful since captive tigers like Mike (avg 15+ yrs) live twice as long as wild tigers (avg 7 yrs). It must really be awful...

Why can't they just lasso the mother fricker and pull him into the cage? If he's gonna be freaking out, stick him behind the opposing team like he's supposed to be
