Here's what I wrote.....

quote:

All credit to Guice but he's not just a great back, Etling and the new OC opened it up for him.

What I should have said is....

quote:

All credit to Guice but he's not just a phenomenal running back, he also got big time help from massive improvement in the play calling and pass game.

I think DG is a great back, have since the army all star game when he was still in high school. I'm sorry that was so confusing for people.

Fournette 168 yards, 2 TDs
Guice 125 yards, 1 TD

LSU win 34-24.

Between all of our RB's the total rushing yards will easily be over 200, Ole Miss is struggling on defense and their only hope is a shoot out

Unless he breaks a few huge plays I say under. No point in pushing him coming off of a tough injury and the Bama game looming.

or Florida, Arkansas, A&M, and even getting past ole miss

Just hope he stays healthy and doesn't fumble.

He'll get his yards regardless along with Guice.

What? He is one of the best backs in the country and fastest LSU back to 1,000 with only two games removed from Les.

LF7 may get 300 yards, who knows, but to say Guice isn't a great back, is retarded.

ETA: Just saw your last post. He has had some luck with the game opening up but to beat out all the great backs LSU has had to get to 1,000 is still freakish.

I see what's happening here. People think I said "he's just not a great back", despite the words being right in front of them.
I appreciate your clarification in the previous post, but in fairness, it looks like quite a few people thought you were saying he's not a great back...because you said word for word, that "he's not a great back"

I now know what you mean, but I think that was a poor way of originally explaining it.

Nope. Look again. You're missing one very key word which changes the meaning entirely.

No, word for word he said "he's not just a great back." While perhaps poorly worded, I understood what he was saying.

Under. Due to rotation, rust, and the fact we want him as fresh as possible for Nov 5th.
I can see LF7 getting 2-3 passes thrown his way on Saturday.

Pass, gets exactly 200.

Or much less, but we can hope.

Hopefully he has a great game but as they say don't mess up a good thing. Keep Guice in the majority of the mix. He has earned it by waiting his time and should be getting the bulk of the plays involving RB.

Use Guice a lot....Win with as little of the Coach O and Buga version of LF as possible.....No, I'm not saying to overlook Ole Piss...
