It has already been stated that we were 7 out of 14 in the SEC. That's average, not "record setting" simply because all of our offensive production came from 4 players.
Sorry, but it was in fact record setting. And to stay on track, here is what the douche posted in the OP,

I am so tired of douche bags like you that don't even get your facts straight, but just throw $hit at the wall and hope that something sticks.

For example, in basketball we were 19-12 for the 2012-2013 season & were 20-14 for the 2013-2014 season. Considering that this is the first year in the past 5 that we've had a full roster of players, that the cupboard was left completely bare by the prior coach, and the outstanding job that coach jones has done with recruiting new talent that has been able to play as freshman, I'd say he's done a hell of a job in his first 2 years. But I'm sure you could do equally as well if not far better!

Our football team has had a streak of 10 win seasons, played in another national championships and won at least 2 "major bowls" since 2007.

Frankly, I could care less about baseball, softball or women's basketball, but if it keeps your pitiful a$$ warm at night, in your parents basement, to bitch about those sports too, go ahead.

You think LSU's mediocre, you don't like the coaches, how much they get paid, and the ticket prices,,,,,

Here's a suggestion, if you're a season ticket holder, which I seriously doubt, then simply don't get tickets for any LSU sports in the future.

If your a typical, bellyaching, short-term, malcontent type of fan, which you clearly are, do the rest of us a favor and go find another team to make their fans miserable.

They are so caught up with running from thread to thread trying to defend Miles that they totally missed the point of the post and won't actually participate in the discussion.

How does an offense that finished in the middle of the pack within it's own conference but produced some individual accolades from players within that offense affect the overall state of LSU athletics?

Shows how meaningful that record is if it lead to an average offense. You can have BS stats like that, I'd rather see us gain more yards and score more points.

1st SEC team to have a 3,000yard passer, 1,000yard rusher, and 2 1,000yard receivers.

That record is overrated as a TEAM statistic. There have been a slew of SEC Offenses that were more productive overall. The 2013 LSU Offense just focused almost entirely on 2 receivers in the passing game. Other teams that have had similar or better production spread the ball around more to different pass catchers.

Funny but if you just want the consistent winner, maybe you do have to pull for Nick Saban and AL - for some reason, he owns Miles 1/9 forward. Otherwise, just ignore the consistent problems.
Unfortunately, that pattern appears to be set for the near future too.
Next year we lose several OL, couple RBs and the QB play right now with Jennings is simply horrendous.

But....Ben Simmons has been signed. Add 5 years to JJ 's bank account.

But...Maineri has a top 3 Recruiting class that will win 3 NC's in the next 4 years. The team has built a replica of Ameritrade so they can learn to hit .

Miles is satisfied with the want of his team. You should place all of your faith in Les. Would les ever lie to you ?

The frick are you talking about? Our athletic performances have not been average. Not in any sense of the word. Do I need to add you to the dictionary list?

Women's basketbal is, at best, mediocre.

If mediocrity is the best we can do, fine - but the fans shouldn't be forced to pay a premium for that.

First thing... LSU played for a National Championship in football in 2011. That is FAR better than winning some meaningless "major" bowl game. Also, LSU's women's basketball team played in the sweet sixteen the past 2 seasons.

Secondly... You are quite... inconsistent in your rant. In your title you say "past few years" then towards the end you seem concerned with "chronic mediocrity." Pick one and try to make a real point.

If LSU's athletic programs are chronically average then I would hate to see what you think about other athletic programs.

Tell me more about the other schools that you think exist that are doing so much better across the board. Who have you seen win a NCAA tournament game, win a "major bowl", and that has won in Omaha.... EVER much less in the past 10 years.

Very few schools can even field a championship caliber team in one sport. While I believe that LSU is 1 of 3 schools in the whole country that has won multiple championships in at least 2 of the main 3 sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball) in just the past 15 years.

If you think LSU sports are mediocre and that the leadership of the programs are quite... average then I suggest you find something more meaningful to do with your time and money. You (a fan) are what I would consider quite... average. The kids who play these sports consider your support quite... average.

I can't argue with any point you made. LSU is exceptionally lenient with coaches in pretty much all sports. Like every school, we get what we settle for.
