I'll never blame a man for trying to get a better job and more money, even if it is Saban.

This obsession some fans have with him is old and tiring. It's history, just let it go.

I don't hate the guy I hate the fans that think he is coming back to coach us. Or hate Kes because he isn't saban. But no coach we hire will be saban. They just don't get it.

But to be fair, we used to chant frick you spurrier.

What the frick does that have to do with anything. He has single handily destroyed the lsu football program in current time.

Yeah since we made the SEC championship game in 05, won the sugar bowl in 06 and the MNC in 07, we were destroyed

Student here. I was one of the few to not partake in the saban chant because as much as I love to yell obscenities, it wasn't necessary and he didn't do anything in this game to deserve it. Call the chant embarrassing but our student section did it's job Saturday. You want to take away our tickets but there is no way Tiger Stadium going to be as loud without the student section.

That is a ridiculous statement. If I am ever wealthy enough I would GLADLY donate to this school. Do you really care if people outside of our fanbase like us? I couldn't care less.

The student section was well behaved during the second half of the Mississippi State game.

Really? You were able to track all of them after they left the stadium at halftime and assess their behavior?

There was a group of douchebags riding around campus in a black mustang convertible. One of the db's in sitting up on the back kept yelling, "frick Bama" at people. There were little kids all around. I didn't see him yell it at any big guys, just mostly girls.

No one cares you dumb arse. They're 18-21 yr old kids who are half drunk and in college. Let them be kids. When they become old starched shirt/stick in the mud the they can be like you.

Kids don't generally yell "F** You Saban" In the south we rear our kids to have more class than that. So please, spare the excuses. That's an insult to kids.

But the reason I don't like Saban...is how evil Saban is to his players on the sidelne. I know Miles can give players a dose...but Saban down right berates his players.

Evil? Because he yells? You're such a pansy.

Have you ever played sports at anything above pee-wee league level? I've had coaches get on me just as bad as Saban gets on his players. It's how some coaches motivate. Others are much calmer.

I'd say Saban's results, and constant flow of top recruits, show that players react just fine to his methods.

I was fine with the chant. I don't get the dancing around and pointing though. Dooshey stuff we used to make fun of at other schools. rattling keys etc. We make enough noise on our own.

I was in the grad school area of the student section and everyone around us (future doctors, lawyers, dental students, PTs, etc) all joined in. It's all in good fun trying to get into the other teams head. Sabans likely said worse things to some of his own players Saturday. Tiger Stadium is known as being one of the worst places to play and LSU's campus, from what I've heard from many, is known as being one of the most hospitable before kickoff on gameday. I think it's good for Tiger Stadium to be raucous as long as people act civilly outside of it.

Their brains are still forming. It's why you see so many ridiculously stupid acts committed by college students.

They're kids that are out of their parents' reach and acting out. They'd never do that stuff in front of their families.

Rowdiness in the student section has been the norm but it's morphed into some sort of "let's see if we can be as vulgar we can be to shock everyone" attention whoring. What used to be about intimidating the other team has turned into grab assery reaching pathetic levels.
