The team is on fire and ready to play anyone. Instead, we have Eastern Michagan next week and a couple of down SEC teams before the bye week.

Our none of our four-hardest games happen until November. Then they are back to back to back to back.

Sept 26 @Syracuse 11 a.m. ESPN
Oct 3 Eastern Michigan 6 p.m. ESPNU
Oct 10 @South Carolina
Oct 17 Florida
Oct 24 Western Kentucky
Oct 31 Open
Nov 7 @Alabama
Nov 14 Arkansas
Nov 21 @Ole Miss
Nov 28 Texas A&M

Who cares.

If this team is who we think they are, they will win.

Florida, Moo St, and Auburn all better than arky. I agree though i wish we played ohio state, michigan state, and oregon in october.

It's the perfect way to end the season.

If we win the division with that kind of schedule on the back end, there is no stopping this team from winning the playoffs.

This team has faced SEC competition and will now get to fine tune some issues while building confidence. The real issue is @Bama and @Ole Miss. We beat Bama and the team is seeing championship, no let down against Ark. Beat Ole Miss and I think we beat A&M so badly they establish a mercy rule for football. SEC east doesn't matter.2 games will tell the tale of our season.

4 straight weeks of big SEC games then the SEC championship.

Just saying would be nice to have Ole Miss or aTm next week.

Definitely need to move Arky to earlier in the season. They always start-off like crap then scramble to make a bowl game and need LSU gsme to save their season.

LSU/South Carolina could very well be a CBS national broadcast.

Florida is decent. I think they have a shot against Ole Miss, with how good the Gator secondary is.

LSU/Florida could be a CBS game too, depending on what Alabama does against Georgia.

I get your point. Style points and how the team looks will matter if it comes down to all conf champs having the same record. This is the "in" allowed for OSU.

As long as we stay hydrated on a cellular level and keep Les out of the coffee pot. Id say we will have a want to play some quality football.

I hate this game if we are 6-0, Getting ready for the bye week... We should win with ease, But focus will be crucial........

it's a fair point. the schedule is definitely back-heavy. Hopefully the team has reached full potential by then, and most importantly...NOT injuries.

The schedule from here on is literally perfect for LSU this year. Barring a Miles game and unexpected loss, we will be going into Bama undefeated. So we can even lose a game and still be in national contention and if we win the west and get to play UGA in the SECCG that allows us to jump back in the playoffs (if we lose a game). So we have 5 games to get Harris and the passing game going and get the kinks worked out of the defense. Then we have 4 games to make an exclamation point.
