This should tell you all you need to know. We are practicing for practice not for game time situations. In no way was attempting that throw on the run within yards of field goal range a good idea.

The coach attempts to justify it by saying he made it happen in practice two days later... No wonder we are so ill prepared on game days.

Nothing Miles can say to fix it. His actions are enough

Your disdain for Miles is noted, and there are plenty of reasons LSU needs a change, but this board is hanging their hat on some stupid comments today.

That comment tells me nothing about whether or not Miles needs to go. The play on the field is damning, but this comment is harmless.

ETA: The OP and others think there is a problem with practicing the play that ultimately costs LSU the game. The execution Saturday was pathetic, so they practiced it and made it better. Apparently that is wrong.

Exactly, and the decision to throw that ball was not on Les or Cam. I'm hard on Les and Cam, but that play was all on BH6, and the porous job up front.

Exactly. Throwing on the run is because the OL gave up pressure immediately. Harris should have made a better throw or not thrown it at all, and you can blame coaching if you'd like, but the play call is fine.

Wrong.

This board and everyone with a brain is tired of the same old shite over and over and over. The comments just drive home how clueless he is.

It's over.

The board's sentiment is fine, but flipping out about this comment or the Boutte explanation is comical.

So Harris and the offense executed that play well in practice and everyone is butthurt about that?
