How in the world can teams like Tenn. Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Miss.State look light years ahead of us on offense when they are just as young as we are? On paper we look loaded, on the field we are not.

I wouldn't necessarily rule out being loaded on the field.

LSU has some of the best WR and RB talent in the West. Gotta figure out how to get them more involved.

I hate being a baby about it, but watching these other SEC West teams, it really does have me worried about what's coming...

Those teams all play a scheme based off the spread. The spread offense can make anyone look good unless they play an elite defense

Combine that with a veteran O-line (even though they have sort of under performed), and the only reason for them to not be productive is because of the scheme.

But even Arkansas is willing to spread it out more than us. They just went 5 wide with a running back and tight end in the formation. With Brandon Allen passing it... And it dawn well worked.

Then if we have elite talent compared to these teams we should run the spread, because what we are currently running is not working. Plus eventually if will catch up with us in recruiting skilled players.

I think Les still wants the defense to carry the team, ala 2011. This defense isn't nearly that talented.

And exactly who's fault is it that we are sporting a Freshman and sophomore at QB? This man has been here over ten years now and we should have more depth at QB.

The experience level of quarterbacks at Alabama and Texas A&M are comparable, and they're lighting the field up. A commentator earlier this season made the correct assertion that LSU's offense has struggled for several years. We are loaded with talent on the field. It's talent on the sidelines that we're sadly deficient.
