our O needs to get better but to say we were that close to a 7-6 season is just plain stupid. If you wanna play that game we were also about the same amount of points away from being national champions

while i don't give much of a shite about yardage gained, it can be one measurement that matters in total. the problem with our O has been too many 3 and outs; it is the MAIN REASON WE LOST TO FLORIDA AND CLEMSON. our offense sputters and executes well "on occasion". there are many, many breakdowns killing our first downs. we can have second and 2 and not make it; 3rd and 1 is the deathknell. if it's not a penalty killing the drive, it's a mett overthrow, a wr drop or missed blocking assignments. our execution is all over the place. our offense SEEMS UNDISCIPLINED AND POORLY COACHED. it's that simple. it's so damn easy to see and not that hard to correct. fire the sob's responsible. keep the best recruiter(s) but if they suck at coaching, move 'em sideways.

On the positive side, our defense almost played two seasons worth of snaps. It's almost like our juniors are seniors, hence the mass exodus of juniors.

but, but, but plenty here want to blame our D for the clemson game. yeah like the 8 3 and outs did not hurt them. that shows our O needs help. The 7 3 and outs in last years SECCg was a telling factor also of the problems within

It's simply a matter of what you are willing to accept. I suppose for many finishing 87th is no big deal.

Double digit ranking... Nice. That's good right? At least we cracked the top 100...

Clearly it's the players inability to execute.

The offense is a correctable problem. We don't need a top 20 offense. If we could be top 40 consistently with our defense that should be enough.

We'd be sitting at winning close to 100% of our games if we didn't have a shitty offense and a bad coach with an incoherent offensive coordinator.

None of this even matters because its all the players faultand they know it. Thats why they are all leaving early.

This and the failure on the offensive side has cost us on the defensive side. The fact that our offensive ranking has not been hihger than 80th the past five years is a indicator where the true problem lies.
