It worked very well against Manziel. One thing I noticed is that the defensive ends collapsed the pocket around Manziel fairly easily. We haven't got much pass rush on other QB's all year. Could the scheme they used today put more pressure on other QB's than other schemes we have used all year?

Im glad I saw it but honestly I dont know where that came from....best LT weve faced all year -jake matthews- and it was easily our best dline performance. Props to the coaches and props to the defense

For all those assholes who have been criticizing Chavis on this board I got two words for you frick YOU.

The only defensive coach in football that has held JFF in check 2 years in a row. Even the vaunted Saban/Kirby tandem hasn't stopped him even one year.

John Chavis here is to you my man, hell of a game plan for the 2nd year in a row containing the best QB in the nation!!!

perhaps but what about the run game? it seems to me that if sumlin was that great of a coach he would have adjusted his game plan and dialed up some power runs right up the gut just to keep our defense "honest".
