This will be one of the better defenses we have had! No question. The dl will be better than last year and lb will be better. Slight question on corners. Have confidence in cam on offense. Looking for a 2011 type season!

I was with you until

Didn't he get destroyed by a TE in the Big Cat the other day?

So him getting beat in a pointless drill, one day, in the spring is more suitable way to analyze his performance in the Fall?

What have we seen to say he's this monster that is going to be better than first round pick Mingo? All we've seen so far is that pointless drill and he got dominated by a TE. Not La'el or Turner...a tight end.

Which is why I agreed with your first statement.

And again, its just the Spring. And it was one big cat drill, that he may have gotten a bad jump or wasn't really interested in.just don't think you can damn people for liking the way he looks in jersey and shorts, then use a spring big cat drill as evidence to the contrary.

I hope he's the next great LSU DL. Just saying people claiming he's better than Mingo when we haven't seen anything to back that up are ridiculous. Personally, I think Rasco will be the best DL this year.

I thought Allen was behind Rasco, you know the guy I said would be LSU's best DL this year, not Hunter.

LSU seems to always reload on defense. But this yr I am the most worried about our front 7 and more importantly the DLine. Hopefully I am FOS on this and certainly looking to be put in place.
Here's my worries
Freak- Good player but is he dominating? Couldnt beat out Downs in two yrs after enrolling early.
Ego- Is he evenan avg SEC DT?
Rasco- Seems solid but again not dominant
Hunter- No idea but doesnt seem like the next Clowney to me.
If Ego and Freak play well we will be a dominant team if not with our schedule it could be a very trying yr.

Freak=Glen(chainsaw for a penis)Dorsey.

His size speed and stregth are ridiculous. When he is on the field you know a tackle for a loss is imminent and that a sack is probable. They won't be able to constantly double team him because of Ego. This years D-Line coupled with the in coming LB's gives me no worries about the front seven. I am worried about the inexperience in the secondary, hopefully we can over come that with raw speed and talent.

Chavis's system will hopefully help the young guys out.We have a lot of young guys that have been itching for a chance to start for years, they'll be hungry and there's nothing more dangerous than a

hungry tiger!

the dl will at least equal last year dl. if you didn't know the names or nfl draft potential, you could easily conclude that last year dl was average. mingo (4 1/2) sacks were awful for a top 10 draft pick. no way he or monty played up to their draft status. in coming guys will be hungry and talented.

Everyone is questioning the secondary. I believe they'll be better this year than last year. Simon and Reid definitely underperformed last year and it drug the secondary down. The Jalens were our best corners last year and should continue to improve and the staff has been praising Dwayne Thomas so I'm looking forward to seeing him step up. Martin is a better coverage safety than Reid imo so that should help them out as well. Loston was solid last year too and should be the leader of the secondary. I think he'll take on the Brandon Taylor role.

Rasco will be good. No matter how bad the other DE is, he can't be worse than Mingo.

If he doesn't jump offsides 3 times a game, that's an upgrade right there.

Well, with the yds they gave up/big plays in the last part of the season, I think it's fair to question them.

Dont forget Frank Herron coming in and its time for J Allen to shite or get off the pot. Our ends should be fine, esp if Maclin donates.

For DT we will have Ego, Freak, and Q Thomas manning those positions with Strongman M Johnson and Gilmore coming in as a true freshman who should see some back up role early

Guy's all this seems great but I will wait & see.I don't think some of u know just what we lost on defense. Guy's we are in the SEC, it will be tough for the new players. However
