Our declining program will produce at LEAST 3 first rounders this year.

Pick 3 out of

Landry
La'el Collins
Anthony Johnson
Mettenberger
Loston
Hill
Ferguson
Allen
Rasco

Now some are long shots sure. I could see hill making it with a monster year. I think La'el, freak, Landry are almost locks. Think mettenberger is a lock (but people will laugh). But everyone on that list has the potential. I know one thing, they'll all be playing on Sundays. Along with mills, obj, copeland, Martin, Hawkins, Alexander, turner, Collins.

Not to mention true fresh that are likely, Jefferson, white, beckwith, bower etc.

Oh yeah. We good.

So much for the great decline.

GREAT POST. GREAT !!! Love the positivity. Amazing what the team looks like after one game... You are dead on. I think Mett will be first rounder. His arm beats Murray at GA, beats Manziel by a ton, beats TN QB, beats McCarron at gump u., beats em all, in my opinion.

I think LSU will produce more roster guys (again) this year then just about any other school except maybe Alabama.

I seriously can't tell if you're serious.

Well played either way

Also, met doesn't even have to be one of them

Even with all the Loston hate on this board lately, he's still projected as one of the top safeties in this class. Depending on team needs, he could slip in to the late first if he stays healthy and puts up some good workout numbers.

I was going to say loston was a lock, but there would just be way to much flaming for my liking.

I'll give you an off the radar guy. If Trai has another great season, he's going to draw comparisons to warmack.

I think he'll stay another year though to block for LF.

HIll should be a first rounder. Landry and Collins with big years have a chance to be late 1st round picks. Who knows where Mett will go, so much could happen with him. He had one big game but looked like a different player from last year. Johnson doesn't seem to be the disrupter on the inside that Brockers , Dorsey, or Nevis were, he's more like a Bennie Logan, real steady. Ferguson, Allen, and Rasco could be mid round picks. Somebody will probably take a flyer on Loston and he will get drafted most likely.

Freak is often mentioned and projected as a first round DT. Just sayin.

As good as this team is, I'm not sure how many 1st rounders we'll have in 2014. A lot of those guys listed will be mid-round picks. I may be proven wrong in time, but we'll see.

If he can work on his angles.. and not blow games like the LSU-Bama game last season..

Hill has first round talent. But, in today's NFL you shouldn't take a tailback in the 1st Rd.

Unless he's AP talented.

I just don't see how people see Landry as a first rounder especially without this season being played yet. He doesn't fit the mold of a 1st round receiver. 6'1 and not a blazer. He's a good wide receiver, but so was Josh Reed.

Weren't you one of the many dumbasses in the in-game/ scoreboard jumping off the proverbial cliff during the game...

I would love all of you nega-tiger game jumpers to watch an LSU game at the Grand Canyon...
