The only passes completed on them were absolutely perfect passes in the first half. We don’t get a ton of qb pressure so the coverage has to be great.

LSU actually pressured the QB pretty good yesterday to the point that he started feeling the pressure when it wasn't there. His timing routes looked either forced or inaccurate, and when he held the ball, he was running for his life. Stidham and Auburn looked a lot like Etling and LSU vs State in the second half.

Key played his best half of football yesterday. May be a sign of things to come? I HOPE!!!

I didn't realize that LSU was 2nd in the SEC in sacks with like 22-23.

Was worried about Toliver early in the season; he's come around big time!

Everyone shits on DJ because the one or two times we’d see him in previous games he’d be allowing a big reception. So everyone would shout, “he always allows the big play.” However, they forget that he was being a shut down corner for the majority of the game and we never saw him because no one was willing to test him. The dude is a stud and is rarely tested.

yuuupppp! Corners played exceptional and safeties play well minus a couple miscues such as Grant poor decision making thus getting burned for that TD which Raymond will use as a teaching moment

They were weak early (dbs over all), but put it together later.

SUB had a couple of huge drops

Dante played great yesterday. Particularly recognized his improvement and maturity on the deep ball to the sidelines that he broke up in the 4th quarter. He went to wrap his other arm around the waist which has been a big problem for him, but kept it off the WR while swatting the ball down. He's been very penalized for this which a lot of DBs will get away with as they can time it a little closer, but his are more recognizable because he's so fast that he does get there maybe a step too soon to consider it simultaneous. Very good play and a sign of improving yourself on details of the game that make a big difference.

CSB:
Dante was very gracious with his time and patience after the game. He spent time signing kids footballs and jerseys and taking pictures. Many other players did too, but my son's favorite player is Dante Jackson, and he has the #1 jersey... which is now signed. Great memory for us.

Surprised at how well Monroe is playing in his first two games and Tolliver improves each week.

I thought the same thing about Monroe playing well. Seemed to be in on a good amount of plays and I didn’t see him blow an assignment like I have with Battle.

I agree with the OP here. Pass coverage was fantastic!
