I think the A&M game was an anomaly. We got zero pressure on Arky's QB until their last drive. The rest of the game we were in that same soft zone defense that has become Chavis' trademark.

Could be, but Arky was also throwing a lot of slant/quick out type passes that allowed Allen to get rid of the ball quickly.

I would love Oregon but Baylor seems most likely!

Who wouldn't love a chance to shut duck fans up even further?

I don't like that game. Don't like Baylor's O against LSU's D. And I'd rather play Texas.

Doesn't matter who we play.....offensive line will still allow pressure and defense will still allow unexcusable points.

And maybe Baylor will play like they did against Okey State.

Good point!!! I was thinking the same thing. If Tigers can shutdown A&M they can shutdown Baylor.

Let's get it on!!!

I don't want to play a gimmick offense like that. Our defense will have a tough time imo

Have we become so pussified that we want the most favorable matchup vs a challenge? Damn, our fan base sucks. Give me Baylor or someone tougher.

In 2011, or maybe last year, sure give us anyone because our D could handle the challenge. Asking for Baylor this year is flirting with disaster honestly

Bama, Ga, Arky have power run games. Our Dline and lack of LB play makes that challenging. We eat Baylor up with atheletes and man to man easier matchups. TAM was no anomoly. Our D is being rebuilt to stop those teams since they are becoming the norm rather than the exception.

I'm sure out players will look forward to a patsy and aren't up for the challenge. Ask them if they want another shot at Bama and I'm sure they'd take your weak stance. Seriously, our fans really suck sometimes.

I know Baylor's not a run-heavy team, but I thought their ground game was supposed to be pretty good.

Actually Baylor is not a bad fit for the LSU defense. Look at the LSU defense since the Chief got here. The "D" excells against the "spread O". Oregon, West Virginia, and A&M twice.

The Defense was (maybe is) supposed to be down this year, yet their best game was against one of the most prolific offenses in CFB...Only team to hold A&M under 40...For some reason Chavis has the "D" so dialed in against spread teams ands never takes his foot off the gas...

If lsu D play like they did against a&m.LSU dominates. But if we play like yesterday. Baylor dominates. I just wonder what them shows up

More of a matter if Les accepts the job that waiting for him. If so Cam will be coach for bowl game. Possibly longer.
