Seems like that would be a mistake considering you still have Rass and if you win Fri, Thompson can set the tone in game 1 of champ series.

I like the matchup with Thompson. He's more of a power pitcher and I think our hitters can make him really work.

Their team ERA is under 2. There should be no worrying about who will pitch when, and what happens if we run up pitch counts, etc. LSU will have to earn what they get. The bullpen needs to put up a Herculean effort to win on Saturday if they get past Friday.

Yep, tracking the team ERA - just curious as to what the rotation was. Obviously an incredible bullpen (and overall team) who's had a great year....

We have several young arms that have thrown well in relief and a few mid week starts.
Brandon Eisart, Sam Tweet, Jordan Britton, Jake Mulholland, and Mitchell Verberg all are under 2.50 era-
Max Engelrekt who was our closer has also gone in long relief this year and has .48 era....
We have arms, but they have not seen a lot of innings and obviously not on this stage.
