in retrospect, it was the only hope that they had. in reality, even if it were overturned, it may not have meant anything at all.

Sportscenter said it would have been a 3 run HR, so pretty bad

Was it challengeable? They seemed to say initially that it wasn't and I've only heard personalities say it could have been challenged. Regardless, huge coaching mistake to leave it to be this questionable.

Herb Vincent, who now works for the SEC, just posted that a coach cannot call for replay, only the crew chief. Not sure if that's true but it makes sense and I would think he would know.

The coach could probably lobby the crew chief and your boy didn't.

I'd tank it right there with not pulling out while banging a slump buster

The ncaa allows the coach to ask the crew cheif. They said that already. Official word from the ncaa.

Zubin Mehenti is the teleprompter reader that keeps saying that. He should be fired for not knowing the simplest rules of the sports he talks about.

Casey asked his 3rd base coach. His 3rd base coach, umpires, LSU's entire defense, and all of OSU's baserunners thought the ball was foul. Not one person on the field, or in a dugout, thought it was fair.

That wasn't Casey's fault. It was just bad luck.

Pac 12 did not use replay system this year so the Oregon State coach was not in the "mindset" to do so. Still, bad move on his part.

But crap happens. OSU had plenty of other chances. The pressure killed them.

Between that and not starting Rasmussen, Casey choked big time in Omaha.

Oh well. Thanks for the wins, stupid.
