Looks like the wife is going to be dragging me to orange beach for Labor Day holiday with the family. I've got to pick my battles so I think I'm going to take my licks on this one. Don't like missing a home game but McNeese makes it hurt less.
Where is good place to watch game in orange beach? Not sure if the house we rented has sec network so I want a secure a backup plan.
Keeping in mind other games that day...especially all the gumps wanting to watch their game with Wisconsin at same time as ours. Definitely want to see them lose their minds if badgers can win. I'm sure they will dominate the tv's in most bars.
Thanks

I had to resort to watch ESPN on my phone for a couple games last year and it's really not a bad option if necessary. The picture is much better than the 13 inch one I used to watch on in my dorm room.

Last time I was there for an LSU game there was a sports bar type place at the Wharf but it was mobbed with Bama and Auburn fans.

With todays technology, I'd likely stream it to the TV in my condo.

Looks like I will be in the Destin/Seaside area this weekend as well. Any ideas on where to watch down there that's not overrun with Gumps?

There is LSU fans every where around there. You won't have a problem finding somewhere to watch it.

Your first mistake was marrying a woman that makes you miss a home game.

I disagree. He might find somewhere eventually, but I wouldn't say he "won't have a problem". OB is the heart of Redneck Tide-land. There may be tons of LSU tents out on the beach, but waltzing into a bar where even the staff is probably rife with gumps, it's gonna be a challenge. Not saying it won't happen, but I wouldn't put money on being able to just walk into a random establishment willing to put on a rival SEC team playing a rent-a-win.
