Option for Replacement for JJ

Obviously JJ is gone at the end of the season, and I know people on tRant have opinionated ideas on whom the wish will be hired for the spot.
I have not seen anyone mention Butch Pierre as an option. He was assistant at LSU for 5 years, and took over as Interim for 10 games in 2008. He went 5-5 which isn't too pretty, but he is a wizard at recruiting.
He had a long tenure as assistant at Oklahoma State, and currently assistant at North Carolina state. (He landed Marcus Smart, runner up for Wooden Award)
I'm not saying I want him as the #1 option, however if we can't find a top of the line guy for the spot BP is a great coach and I can guarantee our AD has looked at him.
Who would yall want to replace JJ realistically speaking?
P.s - Plus he is from Louisiana. Might have that Ed O factor in him.
