Sorry if this was already posted. Pretty telling of problems much deeper than talent, told by those who study the film for a living.

quote:

“They don’t play hard,” a veteran college coach texted after watching the Troy debacle on Saturday night. “Troy was more physical!”

quote:

“It wasn’t what you expect,” said one assistant coach. “You expect guys ready to kick your arse. There wasn’t any fire. Genetically they weren’t as good. On film, they weren’t as good. But these guys, I don’t know. These guys, I don’t even know what to say. I can’t believe they play the way they do. They’re soft. Soft. It doesn’t make sense.”

quote:

“When everything got super tough against Mississippi State, they tapped out. State was giving it to them and they didn’t want any piece of it. They were tapping out the entire game.”

Yeah, I'm not even sure what that means within a football context.

If O can’t get a team to play with fire, what exactly does he bring to the table?

That’s gotta be one of the biggest selling points of the hire and has nothing to do with injuries or youth.

It's sad. Orgeron's peers have zero respect for him.

... and it shows.

Syracuse lived in our backfield.

Troy OL could put the LoS wherever they wanted.

Only my guess but I think he’s talking speed, inches and pounds.
