I really doubt anyone says Ole Miss is overrated

you must not read the rant much...

also, you sound like an Ole Miss fan. The ones I know keep saying they should be #1 because they beat bama. I think Bama has a real shot at losing 3-4 games this year, including against LSU....Arkansas most definitely should have beat them. But, since they are Bama, and coached by Saban, they get a pass.

Florida is not better than average. They're actually below average.

Well stated. I think if we're able to crush UK @ home, we'll be setting ourselves up for a good rest of the season.

You:

What sticks with me is the monkeydick responses that want to make sure the OP is aware of how bad LSU is. I really hate some of your perspectives on the team you supposedly love. Many of you taking your interests elsewhere would actually benefit this team. ETA: Hey, I understand if you don't feel the same way as the OP and even state it. BUT, no need to be a frick about it.

I would feel so good about this team right now if we had a decent quarterback.

We do... but he was thrown to the wolves as his debut. Really???? Harris is a good QB..

As of now, we don't. It is all that is really holding this team back from having a really special end to the season.

It's the same thing that's been holding this team back for the better part of a decade.

perhaps the young Dr was implying: "an above average Florida team"... Above average in any other conference than the SEC. Maybe he sees them as an average, say... hypothetical, Big Ten Florida Team. Would anyone consider that an accurate assessment???

hollowTiger...You're making some incorrect assumptions about me and my loyalties based on the fact that you don't agree with my take on how good Ole Piss is... Ole Miss beating Bama wasn't everything, but it absolutely meant something... Arky maybe should have beat Bama, but they didn't...no way the Gumps lose 3 out of their last 6 games. And no way Ole Miss remains unbeaten in the West, either we take them down at home or MSU does...

Getting back to the topic, I somewhat see what the OP was trying to say. Lets beat UK tonight. If we do that, we get Ole Piss at home at night with their heads so big that there is a possibility of an upset and we win. If that happens, who knows what that confidence will do, but there were a lot of "ifs" in my statements.

I say lets beat UK tonight and take one game at a time this season enjoying each win, when we get them, and let the season play out.

I hope we end the season in stile, but we are so young. We are not so good on either side of the ball. If we can just hold for the rest of the season, watch out next year!
