The guy who took Ponamsky's spot on C&P in he morning. Used to love the morning show but he and Guillbeau were so damn annoying this morning I turned it off. I find it hard to believe this was the best they could do. Dude is incredibly pessimistic and negative. Not to mention he won't shut the hell up about the damn Cubs.

What do y'all think about this cat?

He's a fan

I think he does a good job from what I've heard. Him saying he thinks LSU goes 2-3 down the stretch may not been what some wanted to hear, though.

I think he's doing a good job on short notice for being on a radio show every morning.

I think they may be using him on an Interim basis while they see what will happen with Ed O and thus DP.

I think he's doing a good job. I sometimes like listening to him better than Ponamsky.

Yeah, he covered LSU for Tiger Rag I believe and then he got another job.
My guess is he's placeholder until DP's role is figured out. If O gets job, DP is done.
If O does not get job, DP comes back to radio.

I don't understand the obsession with the Cubs. But a lot of LA people are bandwagon fans in baseball so it's not surprising

Ponamsky and Jordy were self proclaimed "sunshine pumpers". I prefer a little more objectivity in my discussion. Not EVERYTHING is great with LSU

Palmer doesn't have the chemistry with Jordy that Derrick did. However, you can't fault him for that seeing as how he was an unexpected last second replacement

I like that he's pessimistic. The show needed some balance. Culotta and Ponamsky were way too optimistic with nothing to balance them out

He's just not that good.
I understand the circumstances he was brought in under, but I think there are about 5 better choices.

Sounds like a frat boy who watches sportcenter for 30 mins every night for his info.

Bregman was on Moscona yesterday and he said he hopes the Cubs win so people will stop talking about no title since 1908 or whatever year it was.

Kershaw will be the only thing to save the Dodgers.

Indians seem like the destiny team this year and they will be well rested.

I think he's a good counter part. It's not an easy job and radio isn't his expertise. He's improving.

I like Hunt

I just remember always saying to myself that dude knows very little when it comes to music.

He would bomb the hell out of those music quizzes

I grew up in BR and most folks had TBS/WGN and picked either the Braves or the Cubs as their baseball team...they showed every game. I picked the Braves back in the early 80's and they've been my team ever since. I think Palmer is from Shreveport...same deal for him although we get a few more Rangers games on television up here.

What MLB team are folks from Louisiana "suppose" to root for?

His voice sounds feminine to me. Get a good ole boy in there.
