If we could afford to lose one game this year, it was this one. Not giving up hope

did you watch bama last night? I get pretty ill when I watch how disciplined they are and how they dominate on both sides of the ball consistently. oh......and their q.b. is just there to NOT make mistakes.

Usually I'd be right there with you. Not anymore. This is what Les Miles football looks like.

Except we played a mediocre team and managed to play worse. We have a fundamental lack of a gameplan that sets us up for success. Miles wants to play smash mouth football against defenses that have literally spent all pre-season preparing for. We will not improve this year on the offensive side of the ball. book it.

It's coaching, philosophy and fundamentals.

Saban is an elite coach........Les is a good guy with a lot of talent that camouflages him.

I have no problem losing, its how we lost. Les was on the hot seat last year and he comes out and looks exactly the same.kickoffs still going out of bounds, 20 yard punts, predictable offense, plays coming in at the last possible minute. We heard for nine months about changes only for things to look the same. Even with the interception, if the plays come in early in the third, instead of being forced to call time out, realisticly LSU could have gotten the ball back with 45 seconds left

Now we will see what this team is really made of. Can't give up hope yet bc it's only the first game and also wasn't a conference game. We started seeing holes open up in the second half running behind the right side of the line. So far, Bama is the only elite looking sec team. Jury is still out on ole miss.......

Do you must feel pretty confident about what you saw that we can go undefeated in the SEC. LOL!!!! We absolutely couldn't afford that loss if the season goal is to get in the playoff. I would have to think that even if we saw a dominant effort and result by our team yesterday that we would have still lost one SEC game somewhere. After seeing yesterday, it's safe to assume that we will lose at least 2 more (that's being very generous). You don't get into the playoff with 2 losses , so yesterday was a loss that we could not afford!

Hypothetically, if you lost one more game and made the sec championship and won, you could get in being the sec champ with two losses.

Will that happen with this coaching staff? No
