Not always true.
2011 skulldrug most all except Bama, but not much Mett was featured.
2012 didn't really seem capable of skulldruggery after Udub.

Hopefully our starting unit will be good enough for us to get some big leads

It's not the starting unit's that are the problem. We get a lead and Miles goes extreme conservative. If by chance, a backup does get in the game, all they are allowed to do is hand off. This will not get needed backup experience. Miles does not prepare backup QBs well and it has cost us since 2007.

Actually Perilloux getting dismissed is what cost us. Pretty sure he saw plenty of time in 2007 but when he got kicked off we were left with 2 freshman QBs for the next 4 years and they both played significant time. Mett saw game action in 2011 until JJ came back. Once JJ came back he was third string. Third string QBs don't play often.

True enough. It's no debate that there are plenty of games that miles put it in neutral at halftime and the game ended closer than it should have.

You're right that we can't blow everyone out but we should be more aggressive and should have won a lot of our games by a larger margin.

I agree with you here. Hopefully we will get that OC that is in the rumor mill after NSD and blow it up next year on offense. God knows the tools are there.

Ah, so now you're going to follow me around because I told you that most of the top level prospects are at the AA level and you don't believe me? That's cool that you have that much time on your hands to follow my posts just to troll.

Common Fallacy, but 4/8 of Miles led LSU teams are FBS Top 10 in MOV vs FBS foe.
With the right personnel, he will go for your throat, but won't leave an LSU lead unprotected doing it.

And what OC is in "the rumor mill"?

Without naming names there might be an OC that was let go of a team in the AFC North during the season. There is widespread talk that he and Les have a history and that there is a possibility of him becoming the OC after NSD.
