One thing I'm confident in with LSU

Should we win on Tuesday, I am condident that Poche comes back in his next start and deals. He will bounce back.
I'm hoping the team has a "come to Jesus" meeting tonight and gets this ship turned around. We have the talent to win this thing so let's do it.

It really would have been a closer loss if he would have just kept Newman in and not tried to let everybody taste the mound. Newman had settled in, TCU's reliever, we were hitting him a little. Would have liked to see Newman stay in a chip away at that lead. TCU is not a Touchdown better than us, that score is way misleading by pitching almost 10 pitchers.

Hoefully Jesus also brings a better approach at the plate.

Well he's got about eight months to get ready for his next start, so let's hope he doesn't waste it.

It's LSU baseball in the 2010s. One of these years, we are going to finish the NCAA tournament as high as we're seeded, and nobody's going to know what to do with themselves. In the meantime, it's just this over and over and over again.

Not sure what you saw that makes you think this. TCU is obviously a vastly superior team to LSU. We could play them 10 times and I wouldn't expect much better in most of them.

Not hardly...LSU plays error free ball like they normally do this game is close loss or a close win...
Those errors opened up the flood gates to a bad day...but TCU is NOT a vastly superior team than LSU...

I think he was trying to save the pen by not pitching anyone for more than an inning or so.
Having said that, Devall made absolutely no sense in a 5 run game. Newman, Stallings, Reynolds, Norman and then see where you are. If you've clawed back, then you go to Person or Bugg. If you've given up runs, then you finish with Cartwright/Devall, etc.

Is this your first game to watch this year? This maybe the worst game we have played this year.

Exactly, we basically gave them game, then conceded the game by going through 8 pitchers. Let's see how many other teams in Omaha pitch 8 different pitchers in one game.

Thanks I needed that laugh.

This!!!! This LSU team is far better than the score showed. Would we have won? Who knows. But, we damn sure shouldn't have lost in that fashion. This team is WAY better than that performance.

This team has been dogshit the whole postseason.

Washington DC huh?? That explains A LOT!
They play 10 times...my guess is 5-5

I have no doubt Javi Sanchez gave this team an earful when regionals started and that infection has lingered.

Is this your first year to watch us play since 2009? Of course we're playing our worst of the year. It's June, isn't it?
